  The Business After Hours allows business owners and entreprenuers to come together and network each month. During the " UPN Business Spotlight " promote your ideas, business,or organization.
  Each month we will nomimate an Honorary Member who has contributed to the betterment of the Urban Professional community. Finally, at each event we will provide a dynamic guest speaker who will enlighten us with their expertise and knowledge.

  Every month join members of the network as we convene to unwind after a long month of work.  We come together and socialize in a mature and comfortable atmosphere as we listen to the smooth sounds of Live Jazz, R&B, and Soul by some of CT's finest bands.

• Platinum Praise
  
  They said it couldn't be done. New Haven's first cabaret styled Gospel Open Mic. Join Gospel music lovers from across the state as Connecticut's hottest Gospel talent showcase their skills. Some of the CT's greatest gospel artis, musicians, and dancers in the region will grace the stage - Doobie Powell, Deon Kipping, Dawn Talmage, Sylvia Jones, Kergyma Community Choir, Jameka Morrison, Min. Cleo Thomas, Stephen K. Wilson, Vindell Smith, and many more.

• The UPN "Meet & Greet"
  
  The UPN "Meet & Greet " is our longest running event.  This social networking event allows non-members to interact and meet UPN members across the state of Connecticut. Throughout the year we host several "Mixers that Matter" at some of the hottest restaraunts and venues.  This event is absolutely FREE. These events provide the perfect opportunity to meet the high quality professionals who make up the membership.
  
  
• The UPN Family & Friends Day
  
  The UPN Family & Friends Day is our Annual UPN event in which all look forward to attending. This is the ultimate cookout held every year at Lighthouse Park in New Haven. At this event members meet members they may not have known. Members bring their families to meet other members. There is food, fun, and games provided and the memories are priceless. Unwind in the summer with a group of people, who essentially become your extended family. There are activities for the kids and so much fun. This event is also home to our Annual Spades Tournament and our Regional Volleyball Tournament. Needless to say, this is truly one of our don't miss events.
